AV Composites was created in 2005 by Fabrice Gravier, sales manager, and Vincent Aprin, CEO, following a competition organized by the Ministry of Research and Industry as well as OSEO-Anvar (state-owned company for the promotion of innovation), for which  Composites was the prize-winner, and also received the "Master Creator 2004 " award for entrepreneurship, presented by the Prime Minister, in the Senate.
In 2007, AV Composites was CREA13 award winner (departmental prize for entrepreneurs), and won the 4th prize in the PACA region (Southeast french region).
Innovative company, AV Composites continues its development by providing innovative and patented products to the market.
AV Composite SAS (simplified limited liability company) has a capital of 435,000 euros, and benefit from the participation of financial partners such as the "Banque Populaire" ( BP) and "Proencia" (constituted of the PACA region, the 'Caisse d'Epargne", and the Deposit and Consignment Office) .
In 2008, AV composites has increased its turnover by over 80 %, reaching a turnover exceeding 3 million euros . In 2009 it has continued its growth with an increase of more than 40%, to exceed a turnover of 4 million euros.

Composite AV has two production lines allowing it to have a capacity of :
- in a station: of 1080 m² / day and 237,000 sqm per year
- In two stations: of 1620 m² / day, or 350,000 sqm per year .

In 2008 , AV Composite moved into a new plant of more than 3 000m ² to enable it to have a production tool much more responsive and efficient, in order to further improve its service and quality.
In 2010, it will continue its development by building another factory of more than 1000m ² .

AV Composite provides the bonding of insulated panels with 2 semicontinuous production lines, allowing it to have a very good productivity and flexibility in production .

Collage is a double-component collage that is most efficient in terms of quality and performance on the market, especially in relation to the single-component systems .

In addition, AV Composites uses monoblock presses of 7.5m, allowing it to have a perfect flatness of its panels.

AV Composites is a very innovative company and has registered numerous patents .
It relies on high-performance development tools and the skills of its engineers either in :
- CAD ( Computer-Aided Design )
- Experimental research by using the " methodology of experimental research " based on factorial matrices of experimental designs.

A national implantation, with a development for an International implantation.

AV Composites company has different products in its range in order to meet the thermal, acoustic and aesthetic requirements, of the filling or free-standing panels.

AV Composites is the only company manufacturing insulating  composite-panel for conservatory roofing that offer :

1. Freestanding reversible panels ( patented )
2. An acoustic panel (three-layer), reversible ( patented )
3. Insulating panels with a high thickness ( from 85 to 105mm )

AV Composites is the only company in the market that has the ETA ( European Technical Approval ), that replace technical notices that were only valid in France.
